We are thrilled to invite you to our overnight Winter Wellness Retreat at the highly sought after Loon Lake Lodge in Maple Ridge, January 26, 2026.

Imagine a magical experience on a secluded lakeside, in a cozy hotel-style stay surrounded by nature, complete with a sauna, fire pits, lake plunge, games, cocktails, and three delicious meals. Plus, you’ll enjoy yoga and Pilates classes designed to nourish your body and calm your mind.

This retreat is all about beauty, movement, relaxation, connection, and escaping the ordinary during the heart of winter. Loon Lake books years in advance, so securing this space is truly special and we’re so excited to share it with you!

A variety of card, social and dice games will be provided for your enjoyment! Also, please feel free to bring your own.
Explore UBC Research Forest with an optional hike around Loon Lake with Tyler after lunch on the second day!
Have something to look forward to
We all feel the effects of winter here in BC to some degree, do we not? That’s exactly why we created this retreat, something special to look forward to, a chance to gather in comfort, luxury, and nature, and an opportunity to reconnect with ourselves and each other. Our hope is that you leave feeling replenished, nourished, grounded, and maybe even connected with a few like-minded wellness lovers along the way.

We’ll begin by arriving around 3:00pm, settling into our cozy rooms, and meeting in the fireplace lounge for cocktail hour before heading to the dining hall for a beautiful dinner. After dinner, you’ll be invited into the Koerner Lodge’s grand meeting space, high ceilings, warm lighting, and a crackling fire, for an evening Restorative Yin Yoga class. We’ll close with a soothing sound bath to calm the nervous system and ease you into the night.

From there, the evening is entirely your own. Drift off to bed with a book, mingle in the common area, play games in the dining hall or join us outside for a sauna, cold plunge, and fireside session under the winter sky. This retreat is designed for everyone to come and go as they please, no pressure, just pure enjoyment and relief from the stress of everyday life.

The next morning, wake up to the smell of freshly brewed coffee in the dining hall and ease into the day with an 8:30am Vinyasa-style yoga class. We’ll enjoy a delicious breakfast together before transitioning into a Pilates class in the grand meeting hall. After that, you’re free to relax, play games, unwind or lace up your boots and join Ty for a winter hike around the lake. And yes, the hike begins with pulling yourself across the lake on a manual rope ferry… it’s incredibly fun and such a unique experience!
We’ll gather one last time for lunch before departing around 3:00pm, or whenever you wish. Tyler and I certainly won’t be rushing off—we’d love to stick around, mingle, and enjoy every last moment with you.
Koerner Lodge

10,193 sq. ft. Sleeps 16 to 40 guests. Built in 2006, the Walter C. Koerner Forestry Centre offers the ideal place for a quick winter getaway. Enjoy comfortable accommodations, WiFi and go to sleep under the stars to the sound of nature in one of Koerners luxury log cabin style rooms.

Jessica & Tyler Towe
Retreat Facilitators
Jessica is a Yoga and Pilates instructor, and the creator of workshops, trainings, and retreats. She lives in Maple Ridge with her husband Tyler, their daughter Mila, and their two pets Gus the dog and Tunes the cat. In her spare time, Jessica loves cooking, dreaming up new ideas for her business, and going out for dim sum. Above all, she cherishes spending quality time with her family.
Tyler is a restaurant owner who enjoys staying active, eating well, and creating memorable meals for family and friends. He never misses a chance to explore a new restaurant, and his favourite thing in the world is playing games of all kinds with his friends. He’s also the designated adventure-planner in the family, always dreaming up the next getaway for him and Jessica.
